Beryl represents a group of minerals, which include aquamarine (green - blue), emerald (bright green), golden beryl (yellow), heliodor (yellow – green and yellow - brown), goshenite (white and colorless) and morganite (red – pink).
Beryl assists in learning how to filter out distractions and unnecessary stimulation. It’s an excellent stone for relieving stress and calming the mind.
Beryl works with each particular color in relation to the corresponding chakra. Aquamarine (blue) is known to stimulate communication, emerald (green) : acceptance and healing, morganite (red – pink) : reawakens the love of married people, golden and white beryl : supports spiritual growth, heliodor (yellow – green) : gives strength and power.
Beryl spheres or eggs were used for scrying during the Renaissance. This stone may be used to enhance prophetic vision. It is also aid that beryl was worn as protection against storms, drowning and seasickness when traveling by water.
