Morganite

Morganite is a rose – red colored variety of beryl, also known as ‘rose beryl’ or ‘cesian beryl’. Orange or yellow varieties can also be found, but morganite has usually a characteristic rose – red color due to manganese and lithium content. It has been named after the famous financier and gem – collector J.P. Morgan.
