Lepidolite was discovered in the eigtheenth century. Its name is derived from the Greek ‘lepidion’ (a little scale) and ‘lithos’ (stone).
Lepidolite is a lilac or rose - violet colored mineral of the mica group. It contains a fair amount of lithium and is referred to by healers as the ‘dream stone’ or even more as the ‘peace stone’. Lepidolite has the ability to soften destructive emotions such as anger, hate and grants a peaceful mood. Lepidolite is an ore of lithium, it relieves all kinds of tension complaints
and it’s a wonderful stone for those who are suffering from depression or mood swings.
