Moonstone is an almost transparent gemstone (feldspar) with an enchanting play of light. Its color can vary from a silvery white with a bluish sheen to reddish brown, yellow - green, or black, but the most valuable ones are deep blue. Each moonstone has always that splendid mysterious shimmer which looks different when the stone is moved. This gemstone is associated with dreams, memories, gods and goddesses, reproduction, fertility and love.
Moonstone belongs to the ancient culture of India, a culture surrounded by magic, emotion, dreams and religion, were it was regarded as a holy, magical gemstone. It was a real moon – culture where people occupied themselves with spirituality and were primarily interested in an inner way of life.
