Citrine

Citrine is a yellow quartz stone, sometimes mistaken for gold topaz. Citrine however, is much cheaper than real gold topaz (imperial topaz). Scottish topaz or Cairngorn could be defined as something between citrine and smokey quartz.
Citrine was a prized stone among Celtic and Scottish peoples. It is energizing, invigorating and positive. It increases motivation and relieves feelings of inertia, thereby improving digestion and clearing congestion from the internal organs. Citrine may work to purify the blood as well.
Citrine may be used to open the solar plexus chakra. It magnifies thoughts and emotions, and can assist in manifesting desires.
There is a special correspondance between citrine and the element of air. It is therefore extremely beneficial in clearing negative atmospheres.
Citrine is a typical Gemini-Mercury stone. Use it as a touchstone to instill warmth and love following treatment of panic disorders, anxiety attacks, fears, phobias and obsessions.
Avoid purchasing stones that have been heat processed, obtain only deep yellow gemstones without any traces of purple coloring.
