Rutilated Quartz

Rutilated quartz is a transparent rock crystal (quartz) embedded with golden needles of rutile. The inclusions are sometimes called Venus hair, and they are often so thin and golden, that it’s almost hard to imagine that this is purely natural. Rutile derives its name from the Latin ‘rutilus’ - which means ‘red’ - in reference to the deep red color observed in some specimens when viewed by transmitted light.
The healing properties of rutilated quartz are interesting, because the inclusions of rutile give an extra dimension to the rock crystal.
Clearmindedness - which is promoted by rock crystal - is also translated into action. It’s nice to be able to think clearly, but if those bright ideas just stay in your head and don’t lead to deeds, they are of little use. And this is precisely what rutilated quartz ensures: it promotes decisiveness.
