Sugilite

Sugilite - also known as Luvulite and royal lazel - is a relatively rare pink to purple mineral, containing potassium, sodium, manganese, aluminum, iron and lithium. It crystallizes in the hexagonal system.
Sugilite was first described in 1944 by Ken-ichi Sugi (Japan, 1901-1948). A second discovery was made in Madhya Pradesh (India) in 1955. In the year 1975, another Sugilite discovery was made in South Africa. Both the second and the third discoveries were made in Manganese mines.
Sugilite is a new age gemstone, found in the place that is assumed to be the cradle of mankind. It is extremely powerful (even when it is small) inducing a cure at all levels. Sugilite protects the soul from wounds, shock and trauma; highlighting the causes of ill-being or illness. It gives courage and love, essential to fight serious or chronic diseases.
